That’s right!  Already I see a few leaves beginning to fall.  Twirling, swirling, red and yellow and bronze.

Soon there will be piles for miles.  Piles for crackle and crunching and playing and jumping.    For Bear and for me it’s a favorite time of year.

Ok, it is a bit early but look what else is here.  Just arrived in the mail.  Just in time to get ready for leaf playing.

Check out the teacher guide, and learn more about me and Bear and where those piles of leaves go, here:

And finally I saw a bear!

This guy, or maybe gal, walked right in front of the house our family was staying in in Deep Creek Maryland.  The last time I saw a bear I was picking blue berries in Maine, many years ago.  Think Blue Berries for Sal. I did say I wanted to see another bear in the wild but not too close.

And so I did this summer.  Just in time for Bear Helps the Forest(And Maybe you Do Too) to arrive.  And just in time to look for those leaves to begin changing and falling and twirling and swirling.  No it is not autumn yet.  But it’s coming.
