It is with regret that I share this sad note as well.  I wish that illustrator Floyd Cooper were here to share this fun.  He passed away last month.  He was an important, creative member of the children’s book world and will be missed.  It is my great pleasure that he illustrated two of my books, A Beach Tail and When Africa was Home.
